MODEX 2026 C-Suite Q&A: Raymond Haggar, President, DMW&H

Strong Industry Partnerships Make a Difference

What stood out most to you at MODEX 2026?

MODEX 2026 highlighted that having the expertise to integrate complex systems and being able to use effective partnerships are critical to bring the best value and the best solution to the user. The number of partnerships highlighted at the show reflects the industry’s need to allow for faster implementation of new technologies. The show highlighted that as AI and mobile automation expand their reach, it’s more important than ever that industry leaders coordinate their efforts to give users the best solution and the best value.

What top developments are shaping the material handling and supply chain technology market right now?

The shift toward mobile automation continues and is accelerating. Small- and medium-sized firms are finding it easier to justify automating their operations to improve their productivity, space utilization and accuracy. Also, the focus on the integration of mobile and fixed automation solutions is allowing customers to have solutions that grow and change with their businesses. In the past, robotics was best used in rigid same-size product applications. Today, mixed, variable size cases are increasingly practical options for most applications that cannot rely on a one-size-fits-all approach.

How is your company responding to these developments?

DMW&H continues to research new equipment and systems for our customers and combines this expertise with strong partnerships with selected suppliers. As an integrator, we don’t need to squeeze one-size-fits-all solutions for specific product offerings. This ensures our customers get integrated, best-of-breed turnkey solutions coupled with 24×7 support. Our indaGo™ warehouse execution software (WES) builds on 30+ years of experience integrating, interfacing with and managing third-party systems. It uses a modern, secure and configurable architecture that delivers reliability, security and real-time data.
