Summary:
The Service Technician II represents DMW&H by providing preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support for customer material handling and conveyor systems. This position is responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electromechanical, and basic PLC/control system issues while delivering exceptional customer service. The Service Technician II works independently on most service assignments, mentors less experienced technicians as appropriate, and escalates complex issues when necessary.

Qualifications
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Basic computer skills required to complete service reports, document repairs, and request replacement parts.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment failures.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to safely operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities:
- Represent DMW&H professionally during all customer interactions.
- Develop and maintain positive, responsive customer relationships.
- Accurately and timely complete work orders, service reports, repair recommendations, and equipment surveys.
- Recommend repair solutions and replacement parts based on equipment condition.
- Maintain company-provided service vehicle and equipment in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
- Identify potential equipment risks and communicate recommendations to management and customers.
- Repair and maintain conveyor systems, power and free rail systems, and related material handling equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- May be assigned to special projects or required to perform other duties not listed above, which may vary from time to time as determined by management, to meet company needs.
- Responsible for protecting confidential information in accordance with company security policies. Duties include following secure data handling procedures, reporting potential security incidents, and completing mandatory security awareness training to ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.

- Compensation Range: $28.11 to $42.17 per hour. Eligible for overtime.
