Summary:
The UI/UX Designer II specializes in creating exceptional user experiences through research-driven design solutions. This person is an experienced professional that applies practical knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. The UI/UX Designer II will work as a member of the software product engineering department crafting intuitive and delightful user experiences. As a key member of the software product team, the UI/UX Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital products working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
The UI/UX Designer II works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but not typically complex.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Expertise in Figma for prototyping and design development.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions.
- Excellent understanding of human-centered design principles.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to details and procedures.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Figma (Required).
- Experience with version control systems.
- Experience using ALM tools (e.g., Jira)
- Experience with source code control tools (e.g., Git)
- Basic understanding of HTL/CSS/JavaScript (beneficial but not required).
Soft Skills:
- Ability to lead initiatives to deliver expected outcomes.

- BS Degree, or related experience.
- Preferred experience in conveyor and material handling systems integration or warehousing.

Responsibilities:
- Product Roadmap
- Meets all obligations to schedule as it relates to daily standup meetings, project-related meetings, and interdepartmental meetings.
- Design
- Conduct thorough user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Maintain and expand upon the indaGO design system and style guide.
- Collaborate with managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions.
- Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and interactions.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
- Stay current with design trends and emerging technologies.
- Prepare internal demonstrations of completed designs for inclusion within the product.
- Standards
- Adhere to software architecture standards, functional standards, and procedures.
- Git source control usage policy.
- Proper use of Jira workflow tools.
- Relationships
- Internally: Work with software programmers, controls, project managers, and management.
- Externally: maintain positive relationships with customers and third-party vendors.
- Security
- Responsible for protecting confidential information in accordance with company security policies. Duties include following secure data handling procedures, reporting potential security incidents, and completing mandatory security awareness training to ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
- May be assigned to special projects or required to perform other duties not listed above, which may vary from time to time as determined by management, to meet company needs.
Additional Information:
- Compensation Range: $82,100.00 to $123,000.00 Annually
